ALL is what happened when Milo Aukerman quit the Descendents and got replaced by Dave Smalley, previously of Dag Nasty and later of Down By Law.

Decent stuff. I could do without tracks 9 and 11, but that's probably just me. |

Allroy For Prez(1988)

More decent stuff. "Postage" is great. "Just Perfect" is the same mix as on Allroy Sez. |
Allroy's Revenge(1989)

Probably my favourite ALL album, despite that I don't like tracks 3, 7, 12, or 14 at all. The rest are great. Dave Smalley is gone; Scott Reynolds is the new vocalist. "Hot Rod Lincoln" is a cover of the classic country song, and it wasn't included on the original vinyl. Tony Lombardo, the Descendents' original bassist, wrote "Gnutheme" and "Man-O-Steel". |
Trailblazer(1989)

Live album, named after a travel commode. |

Allroy Saves(1990)
|

The last "Allroy" album for a while. Several "downer" songs, a little more than usual. Milo wrote "Just Like Them". |

"ALL... or none? Let's take a closer look." This is my least-favourite of the ALL albums I own. 1, 3, 6, and 11-14 are pretty cool, but the rest are dull. Scott's last album with ALL. The next album, Breaking Things, was the first with current vocalist Chad "Chud" Price. Who wrote the music for "Hotplate", ZZ Top? "And that's our show!" |
